Jumpy MR2 Video

A MR2 doing a burn out jumps up as it sets off (no crash just shows the amount of power wanting to burst out of the bonnet). Not a bad kit either. The MR2 does 1 tire warm up and then what seems to a be a run but i cant tell weither its a track or if its a normal road as theres a car that seems to be coming up to it as it zooms past. Or maybe it is a track but the other unknown car just cant keep up

Heres a quick tutorial i found for you newbies wanting to get started in MR2 perfomance. It teaches you about Cold air intakes and induction kits and the effect on performance. Theres also plenty of images to show you whats going on under the bonnet.

Improving the Suck – if you put a piece of cloth over your mouth and suck in air you will not have too much of a problem but if the cloth were wet or a double thickness things start to get harder. Your engine, just like you, needs to breath air.

The air filter is a very necessary part of the engine unless you are operating in a laboratory so the aim is to get an efficient air filter that is not too thick and is not oily, greasy or dirty. This is where induction kits and sports panel air filters come in.

TorqueCars have looked at the various types of filter materials available today and we have concluded that the best filters for flow rates use oiled cotton gauze as their filtration medium.

These are not particularly easy to come by for most applications, so for the average fast road car we would recommend going with one constructed from sponge impregnated with a dirt retentive spray.

I thought id add a few pics of MR2’s that ive seen on the net that have caught my eye mainly for asthetics. Ive added three today with more to come soon but as im sure you will see two of these aint your standard machines.

this orange MR2 parked up in a carpark sumwhere in the world has a nice colour looks almost 2 tone.

This has to be one of my favorites i mean look at it it looks like beast. If you have this body ontop and Shahids (My Uncle) workings under the bonnet youve got yourself a super car.

i wonder if thats made any records ?
